Terms of Service

As a donor participating in the New York Tech Big Give, I understand the Terms of Service as outlined below:

1. GiveGab.com is an online platform which has contracted with New York Institute of Technology to safely process all contributions made through the Big Give.
2. GiveGab charges transaction fees for processing donations through its site. These transaction fees are as follows:

·       2.5% + $0.30 for  each donation paid with  a credit or debit card

·       $3.00 for each donation paid via direct bank account debit (this payment option is available for donations of $100 or more)

1. GiveGab will deduct the applicable transaction fee from each donation before sending the funds to New York Tech. However, donors are given the option to cover the transaction fee at check-out. This will ensure 100% of their donated amount goes directly to New York Tech.
2. If a donor chooses the option presented by GiveGab at check-out to “Tip the Platform”, it will remove the donor’s ability to cover the transaction fee for New York Tech.
3. While the New York Tech Big Give donation period runs from April 2 to 3, 2025, any donations processed outside this donation period  through GiveGab.com, including subsequent recurring donations, are subject to the fees outlined above.
