Here's What You Need:

• Your 8th Edition New York Tech Socks

CHOOSE WHERE TO GIVE
• Sewing needle and thread
• Two buttons for eyes
• Stuffing material
• Scissors
• Marker

Step 1: Body and Legs

• Turn one sock inside out.
• Lay it flat with the heel facing up.
• Cut straight up the middle from the opening to about 2 inches below the heel.
• Sew along both cut edges to form two legs, leaving an inch unsewn.
• Turn right side out and stuff firmly. This is the body and legs.Big Give Community Partners are critical in ensuring the success of the Big Give.

Step 2: Arms, Tail, Ears, Mouth

• Take the second sock, turn inside out, and cut pieces for:
• 2 long strips (arms)
• 2 half circles (ears)
• 1 long thin strip (tail)
• 1 oval (mouth)
• Sew each long strip into a tube leaving an opening on one end. Turn right side out and stuff
• Sew the round part of the ears, stuff, then sew closed.

Step 3: Sew Together

• Sew arms to each side of the body.
• Sew the tail onto the back.
• Sew the mouth panel onto the face. leaving an inch unsewn to stuff before closing.
• Sew ears on each side of the head.

Step 4: Add the face

• Sew on buttons
• Add a smile!
